# Show the verification QR code in the app

From the mobile app, a worker can show their own badge without the printed card. See [Electronic badge](/electronic-badge/).

The worker needs a 4HSE account associated with their person: see [Give a worker access to their own record only](/users-and-permissions/give-a-worker-access).

1.  In the app, open the **Account** page.
2.  Tap **Show verification QR**.
3.  Show the QR code to whoever needs to check it.

The link to the verification page appears below the QR code: tapping it copies it, for example to send it in a message.

Every time you tap **Show verification QR** the app generates a new QR code, valid for two years. QR codes generated earlier remain valid until they expire.

The same **Account** page shows the worker their own details, qualifications, compliance status and certificates.
