## v2.3.0 — April 2020

### New Features

-   **Period management** — A new period system allows you to track historical changes over time for people, offices, and other entities, with support for viewing data at specific points in time.
-   **Gantt-style visualization** — Time-based data can now be visualized in a timeline view for better planning and overview.
-   **Entity cache and labels** — Improved data caching and automatic label generation for better performance and display.
-   **Color gradients** — New color gradient support in data displays for visual differentiation.
-   **Error dialogs** — Improved error handling with clear error messages and dialogs.

-   **Notification system** — Updated the notification system to work with the new period management feature.
-   **Data queries** — Improved query performance with support for period-based filtering and union queries.
