# Assign people to a job or a homogeneous group

A person can belong to several jobs and several homogeneous groups. See [Worker groups](/worker-groups/).

## From the job or group

[Section titled “From the job or group”](#from-the-job-or-group)

The way to assign several people to the same group.

1. Open the office and, in the **Human resources** menu, choose **Jobs** or **Homogeneous groups**.
2. Select the job or group and open the **People** tab.
3. Click the **New** icon.
4. In the **Associate person** window, select one or more workers of the office and confirm. The list shows only the office’s employees who are not already in the group.

## From the person’s record

[Section titled “From the person’s record”](#from-the-persons-record)

The way to assign several groups to the same person.

1. Open the person’s record and choose the **Jobs** or **Homogeneous groups** item.
2. Click the **New** icon.
3. Select one or more jobs or groups and confirm. The list shows those of the offices the person belongs to.

## The time of exposition

[Section titled “The time of exposition”](#the-time-of-exposition)

By opening a person’s row in the **People** tab, you can enter their **time of exposition** to the group: a **Value** with its **Unit of measure**, for example 4 hours a day.

## What happens after the assignment

[Section titled “What happens after the assignment”](#what-happens-after-the-assignment)

If the job or group requires actions, 4HSE proposes enrolling the person as a **suggestion** in the [scheduler](/scheduler-and-notifications/). The enrolment is not automatic: see [Enrol recipients in a session](/prevention-and-protection/enrol-recipients).

To remove a person from a group, select them in the **People** tab and click the **Delete** icon (a bin).
