Person Permissions
In 4HSE, the Person entity represents a real individual registered in the system with their personal information.
Permission Groups for Person
Section titled “Permission Groups for Person”Permissions for the “Person” entity are managed by assigning users to predefined groups. Available roles include:
- Manager
- User
- Guest
4HSE also features the Related User: a user directly linked to a specific person. This functionality complements standard permission assignment through groups.
Permission Overview by Role
Section titled “Permission Overview by Role”The following table summarizes the capabilities of each permission group.

| Manager | Read and write permissions Can link entities to the person (work phases, equipment, etc.) Can manage the person’s permissions and groups (only if also a Project Admin) |
| User | Read-only permissions Can view entities associated with the person |
| Guest | Read-only permissions on a limited set of data Can view only certain sections (cannot access Administration, Attachments, and Events sections). |
How to Set Person Permissions
Section titled “How to Set Person Permissions”To configure permissions for a Person:
- Open the Person’s detail page;
- Select Administration from the menu, then the Permissions submenu;
- The section has two tabs: Groups and Users;
- Selecting Groups shows the predefined groups for the person and the users in each group;
- In the Details -> Users section, you can view the users in each group;
- To add a user, click “New” and enter their email address.
To see the users who have been granted direct access to the Person, select the Users tab.
