Generate the text of a field

On the records of 4HSE, a wand icon next to a text field marks that the AI can write its content. One click opens the menu with the entries you can use at that moment.

For now the wand appears on one field only: the Description of a prevention action.

Beta feature

Generation is in beta and needs AI credits to be enabled — see Availability and credits. To request them, write to support@4hse.com.

Every generation consumes credits, by an amount that cannot be predicted in advance.

Entry	Use it when
Generate	The field is empty, or the text in it is worth redoing from scratch
Improve the wording	The content is right but badly written: tangled sentences, points in the wrong order
Expand	The text is too thin for the document it ends up in and needs to go into detail
Summarise	The text runs long and needs cutting back to the essentials

While the field is empty the menu holds a single entry, Generate: the other three work on an existing text and appear as soon as there is one.

Caution

On a field that already has content, Generate rewrites it from scratch and the previous text is replaced. There is no undo: what was there before cannot be recovered.

Where the content comes from

The AI starts from the data already filled in on the record and completes the rest from what it knows about workplace safety and regulation. In the example above the name of the course is enough, but the more fields are filled in, the more pertinent the generated text.

When the wand does not appear

• The subscription does not include the AI — 4HSE behaves as it always has.
• The field is not one of the supported ones — today only the Description of an action.
• The record is read-only — no field can be edited.
