Release v2.54.x

  • Permit to Work — Certificates can now act as time-bound work permits: authorize a specific activity for a specific person or team, for a limited period, and verify it on site by scanning a QR code. See the Permit to Work guide.
  • Certificate life cycle — Certificates now carry a status — Draft, Valid, Revoked or Rejected — so you can prepare an authorization, approve it, withdraw it, or record that it was not approved. Expired status is derived automatically from the validity dates.
  • Time-limited permits — When issuing a certificate you can enable hour-level precision and set an exact start and end time, ideal for short-lived permits such as hot work valid for just a couple of hours. Without it, certificates keep working with day-level dates as before.
  • Required forms before issuing a certificate — Forms linked to an action can now be marked as required. The certificate cannot be created until every required form has been completed, with a clear indication of which forms are still pending.
  • Verification QR code on certificates — From a certificate detail you can now generate a secure, time-limited verification link and its QR code to share the permit.
  • Public verification page — Scanning a certificate’s QR code opens a public, read-only page — no account required — that shows the permit’s up-to-date status, the worker or team, the validity dates and any attachments. Expired links show a clear message inviting to request a new QR code.
  • Person badge printing — A new print template lets you print a person’s badge.
  • New statuses and exact times in the scheduler — The deadlines list now shows the Revoked, Rejected and Expiring statuses with a dedicated color and icon, and displays the time alongside the date for permits that use hour-level precision.
  • Prompt, time-aware expiry — Permit expiry is now recalculated frequently and, when hour-level precision is enabled, honors the exact time of day, so a permit moves to expiring and expired right when it should.
  • Clearer certificate status labels — Certificate status labels have been reworded for clarity.
