Time-bound validity

A permit is effective between the Date release and the Date expire. When you issue the certificate, the Time precision checkbox decides how precise those dates are.

Tip

For an operational permit — hot work, confined spaces, a single shift — turn Time precision on. Valid “until the end of the day” is far too broad for an authorisation that should last two hours.

Expiry is then applied automatically by 4HSE: nothing has to be closed by hand, and the public verification page reflects the change on the next scan.
