Artificial Intelligence

The artificial intelligence integrated into 4HSE is an intelligent virtual assistant available 24/7 that operates in the management of occupational safety. Through natural conversation, you can ask the AI to retrieve information, perform operations in the system, and obtain consultation on regulatory and technical aspects.

The integrated AI feature is available to all users with admin or manager role in a corporate project or multi-company account.

AI usage is based on a credit system. Each organization receives 100 free credits that renew monthly. Each interaction with the AI consumes a small amount of credits based on the complexity of the request.

4HSE integration with external AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or other MCP clients is also available to everyone. Consult the dedicated documentation on 4HSE’s MCP server.

The 4HSE AI is easily accessible directly from the desktop application. In the main 4HSE bar, at the bottom right, you will find a chat icon. Clicking it will open the AI assistant window where you can start conversing immediately.

The chat window shows the list of previous conversations on the left and the active chat on the right. You can start new conversations and delete previous ones. At the bottom left, the bar showing credit usage and remaining credits is visible.

The 4HSE AI uses a system of specialized agents that are automatically activated based on the type of request. There is no need to manually choose which agent to use: the AI analyzes the question and routes it to the most appropriate agent.

The main agent that performs concrete operations in the 4HSE system. Through natural language, you can request searches, creation, and data management without manually navigating the interface.

The Operations Assistant runs on the 4HSE MCP server: see the Capabilities section for the full list of available operations (search, compliance, safety organization, profiling, actions and sessions, incidents, documents).

You can also attach files (PDF, images, Office documents, CSV) to the conversation: the AI automatically extracts the useful information to perform the operations.

Provides practical, step-by-step instructions on how to use the 4HSE interface. Explains where to click, which menus to open, and how to complete operations manually.

Provides technical assistance on APIs, endpoints, authentication, webhooks, integrations, and configurations for developers who want to integrate or customize the 4HSE platform.

Provides consultation on occupational safety regulations, legal obligations, and industry best practices, integrating the information with 4HSE features.

Functions as a commercial consultant that understands the organization’s needs and illustrates how 4HSE can support compliance and safety requirements.

  • Operations not yet supported: The AI cannot delete data, create or modify projects and sites, manage users and permissions, or modify existing sessions and certificates. For these operations, use the 4HSE interface (the guide agent can explain how)

  • Does not provide official legal advice: The AI provides general guidance on regulations, not binding legal advice. For critical legal matters, consult a qualified professional (RSPP, consultant, lawyer)

  • Does not replace emergency procedures: The AI is not a tool for emergency situations or critical safety. In case of danger, always follow company protocols and contact the competent authorities

  • Memory limited to the current conversation: The AI only remembers what has been said in the current conversation. Each new conversation starts from scratch

  • Use natural language: The AI understands names of people, projects, sites, and resources. Write “Search for Mario Rossi in the MyCompany project”

  • Be specific when necessary: Providing details narrows results. “Show me certificates expired in the last 30 days at the Milan site” is more useful than “Show me the certificates”

  • Leverage the conversation context: The AI maintains context, so after a first question you can say “List them by name only” without repeating the context

  • Follow the correct workflow: For complex operations, follow the logical order. For example, first create roles and job positions with the respective commands, then profile people by assigning them to existing roles and job positions

  • Verify important information: For critical decisions, verify the results directly in the 4HSE interface
